Quilters Haven No Shadow Rulers contain extra markings to make it faster and more accurate cutting. They are made from yellow fluorescent acrylic so the edges appear to light up" using the light from the room. This is different from traditional style rulers which tend to cast a shadow along the edge which sometimes affects accuracy. Our rulers are also laser etched so lines will never rub off.
